Georgina was born and bred in South Cumbria before leaving the area to begin her studies at Aberystwyth University.

She trained in the Southeast of England working for a firm with offices all over the region and in London. Upon qualification she returned home to begin her working life. Georgina is a proud Cumbrian, being schooled at Cartmel and later, Barrow Sixth Form: she has seen firsthand some of the challenges that Cumbria faces.

Georgina is a Senior Associate Solicitor at Napthens working from the Kendal office and based in the Wills and Estate Planning department. She is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and a dementia champion. She works closely with the rural department, and has a real passion for assisting rural and farming families.

Both professionally and personally Georgina has supported local charities and is honoured to accept the role of Trustee with the foundation so she can assist it in whatever is required in her role as Trustee, given her links within the community.
