Our small grants process is aimed at small, volunteer-led and run community groups in Cumbria. These groups are unlikely to have paid staff, may not be constituted in some instances and/or may be just starting up. To help support the growth of volunteer activity, we have introduced a new short form where the maximum grant awarded will be £1,000. If you are an already established group with paid staff and/or governed by national or large organisations, are uniformed (scouts, guides etc.) or are medium sized, then please use our normal grant application process.
