Honorary Treasurer (volunteer)

We’re proud to support hundreds of brilliant community groups, charities and individuals across Cumbria each year. Our grants help tackle poverty, improve health and wellbeing, nurture community spirit and respond to the climate emergency.

But we can’t do it alone. As a registered charity, we are governed by a board of trustees. We need committed, community-minded people from all walks of life to join our board.

Our Honorary Treasurer will stand down in 2027 so we’re looking for someone willing to shadow her initially, then step up into that vital role. You’ll be a qualified accountant or senior finance professional, who will be confident advising and guiding the board on all aspects of financial management and reporting.

We believe that great decisions come from diverse voices. To bring a broader range of experiences to our team, we’d particularly encourage applications from candidates who are LGBTQ+, black or brown.
