Quality accredited by UK Community Foundation

Achieving Quality Accreditation demonstrates that a Community Foundation is serious about quality and accountability. It specifies what we do and how we do it in a way that other quality systems cannot, and enables Community Foundations to position themselves as part of a highly performing network across the UK.
Not only does Quality Accreditation in the Community Foundation network ensure high standards of governance and service are met, but the process also creates a platform to share best practice between Foundations.
Quality Accreditation is based on a set of standards relevant to Community Foundations which include four key performance areas plus a corporate assessment which looks at the organisation as a whole:
- Strategy, governance, definitions and risk
- Financial and information management
- Philanthropy services: donor management and grant making
- Organisational and network development
