Myles, of Great Salkeld, near Penrith, joined the Foundation as Chair in September 2025. A former Chartered accountant and audit partner with KPMG, Myles is also a trustee of the Lake District Calvert Trust and member of Carlisle Cathedral finance committee.

Myles has lived in Cumbria since 1993. He is married to a recently retired local GP, and they have two children. His hobbies include watching rugby and cricket.
