Lucy grew up in South Cumbria and was educated at St Anne’s (now The Windermere School) followed by Kings Canterbury.

During her 20s and early 30s Lucy lived in Paris, New York and London as a professional painter.  Lucy returned to Cumbria to take over from her father the chairmanship of the family business, The Holker Group.

Through professional and personal interests, Lucy is actively involved in her community and local charities.

Lucy lives with her husband, Tor McLaren, in South Cumbria.
