Hannah was born Penrith and attended Durham University. She lives with her husband and son in Penrith and the family enjoy spending their free time out on the fells.

Hannah worked for the NHS for over 16 years and served as the Director of Operations at Cumbria Health on Call for ten years.

She is currently the Head of Operations for Cumbria and Lancashire for the North West Ambulance Service.
