
Overview
The Thomas Armstrong Construction Community Fund focuses on supporting communities in and around their Head Office location and sites where Thomas Armstrong (Construction) Ltd and Washington Homes operate.
Grants are available for organisations that aim to improve lives by:
• creating opportunities for people to escape poverty,
• providing skills, education, and training to help individuals achieve their full potential, or
• promoting better health
Current areas of benefit: Flimby, Workington, Maryport, Whitehaven, Cleator Moor, Gilcrux, Millom, Moor Row, Penrith and Wigton.

Who can apply?
• charitable, not-for-profit organisations
Priority will be given to projects that:
• improve the lives of children and families in need of extra support
• offer inclusive activities and reduce isolation
• promote better mental health and wellbeing
• build stronger, more resilient communities
What the Fund will not support in addition to our normal exclusions:
• individuals
How much can you apply for?
Grants will normally be up to £2,000 over one year.
