Grants to organisations that help empower young people and support education, and to individuals aged 25 and under, including young farmers, living in Cumbria.

Who can apply?
• charitable, not-for-profit organisations
• individuals aged 25 and under
Examples of activities that could be supported:
• business training for young people
• supporting young people with a disability into employment
• young farmers who need further qualifications
• promoting life skills and confidence in young people
What the fund will not support in addition to our normal exclusions:
• staff costs for a youth group
• trips
• university costs
• nursery schools
How much can you apply for?
Grants to organisations will normally be up to £5,000 over one year. Larger grants may be given in exceptional circumstances, and multiple-year funding may be considered.
Grants to individuals will normally be up to £1,000 over one year. Household income will be considered in the assessment of the application.
