
Grants to organisations for initiatives that reduce poverty, improve health, tackle social inequality, and help people reach their potential, or for projects that nurture a sense of place or promote climate action in the communities close to the Tallentire Wind Farm.

Who can apply?
• charitable, not-for-profit organisations which benefit the parishes of Bridekirk, Blindcrake, Gilcrux and Plumbland
Examples of activities the Fund would like to support:
• activities for disadvantaged young people
• community events
• improvements to community facilities
• projects that support environmental sustainability
• projects to improve the energy efficiency of residents on low incomes
• projects identified as needed by the local communities in the Community Investment Strategy
What the fund will not support in addition to our normal exclusions:
• individuals
How much can you apply for?
Grants will normally be up to £10,000 over one year; however, larger grants may be awarded.
