Grants to organisations for initiatives that reduce poverty, improve health, tackle social inequality, and help people reach their potential, or for projects that nurture a sense of place or promote climate action. Priority will be given to projects in the former local authorities of Carlisle and Eden.

• community cinema
• camping activities for Scout groups
• expenses for volunteers and room hire for radio broadcast training
• improvements to village halls or community buildings
What the fund will not support in addition to our normal exclusions:
• individuals

Grants will normally be up to £1,000 over one year.
