Grants to organisations for initiatives that reduce poverty, improve health, tackle social inequality, and help people reach their potential, or for projects that nurture a sense of place or promote climate action in the areas local to the Nuvia site (in the former local authorities of Allerdale and Copeland).

Who can apply?
• charitable, not-for-profit organisations
Priority will be given to projects that:
• improve employability of young people
• promote healthier, safer, and more resilient communities
• have environmental/sustainability initiatives
Examples of projects supported:
• activities and workshops for young people in Cleator Moor and Frizington
• educational environment activities for young people from the former local authorities of Allerdale and Copeland
What the fund will not support in addition to our normal exclusions:
• individuals
• expeditions
How much can you apply for?
Grants will normally be up to £1,000 over one year.
