Moorhouse Grassroots Grants Fund

Grants to organisations for initiatives that reduce poverty, improve health, tackle social inequality, and help people reach their potential, or for projects that nurture a sense of place or promote climate action. Preference will be given to projects that benefit people and communities in North Cumbria.

Who can apply?
• charitable, not-for-profit organisations

Examples of projects supported:
• creative arts therapy for children
• staff costs for family support group
• counselling costs for people with mental health issues
• activities engaging residents in the importance of river maintenance and habitat
• wellbeing environmental work

What the fund will not support in addition to our normal exclusions:
• individuals

How much can you apply for?
Grants will normally be up to £10,000 over one year.
