A fund to raise career aspirations of young people in West Cumbria by enabling access to study or vocational training. This programme supports Sellafield’s Socio-economic strategy.
2008 marked the end of BNFL’s ownership of the Sellafield site in West Cumbria. To celebrate their role over the years and to leave a continuing legacy, the company set up the ‘Live the Dream’ Fund to provide opportunities for young people in West Cumbria now and in the future. The fund prioritises educational or training activity which raises aspirations of young people or to help them achieve their career aspirations.
