High Sheriff’s Crimebeat Fund

Grants directed by the High Sheriff of Cumbria to charitable organisations working with young people.

Money raised by The High Sheriff of Cumbria during his/her year in office

Who can apply?
• charitable, not-for-profit organisations
• helping young people who face significant challenges or barriers in their lives
• whose activities primarily target young people involved with crime or in danger of becoming involved in anti-social behaviour or crime

What the fund will not support in addition to our normal exclusions:
• individuals

How much can you apply for?
Grants will normally be £1,000 over one year.

This Fund does not consider applications directly.  Cumbria Community Foundation works with the High Sheriff to identify potential projects for support.
