Overview
Grants to individuals and organisations across Cumbria supporting young people to build skills, confidence, and training for business or employment.

Who can apply?
• individuals
• charitable, not-for-profit organisations

Priority will be given to:
• projects that help and empower young people
• activities that support the development of knowledge or skills
• activity that encourages young people into farming

Examples of activities that could be supported:
• business training for young people
• mentoring programmes
• courses for industry-specific certificates of competency
• travel expenses to support work experience

How much can you apply for?
Grants for individuals will normally be up to £1,000 over one year. Household income will be considered in the assessment of the application.
Grants for organisations will normally be up to £5,000 over one year.
Multiple-year funding may be considered.
