Overview
Grants for volunteer-led and community organisations working to reduce poverty for people in Workington, Whitehaven, and along the west coast of Cumbria, including St Bees, Seascale and Holmrook. Funding supports activities that make a meaningful difference to local people, particularly those facing challenges.

Who can apply?
• charitable, not-for-profit organisations supporting people in West Cumbria
Examples of what the Fund will support:
• renovating a community space to support people experiencing homelessness
• service for victims of domestic abuse
• training to help people build skills and find employment
• activities that bring older people together and promote wellbeing
What the Fund will not support in addition to our normal exclusions:
• individuals
• anything that replaces statutory funding
How much can you apply for?
The maximum grant award will normally be up to £2,000 over one year.
