Overview
A single grant for a charitable organisation to deliver a coordinated programme of menopause awareness and workplace support in Barrow-in-Furness. A flagship awareness event will be a central component of the programme, acting as a catalyst to engage employers, promote resources such as the Meno-Kit, and drive sustained workplace change.

Who can apply?
• Charitable not-for-profit organisations, including social enterprises, with demonstrable track record of delivery in this field.
Priority and shortlisting from Expression of Interest will be given to projects that can:
• demonstrate a track record in this field and required outputs
• evidence working with employers (or ability to do so) and
has capacity to deliver a 6-month project with minimal development time
• demonstrate aspects of lived experience and/or co-production, previous geographical delivery and/or significant impact
• most closely meet the project brief and anticipated outcomes
What the Fund will support:
• All costs relating to the specific brief
What the Fund will not support in addition to our normal exclusions:
• individuals
How much can you apply for?
A single grant to a maximum value of £25,000.
Monitoring & Evaluation requirements
• event attendance and engagement levels
• organisations reached (by number, size and sector)
• activities delivered and resources distributed (including Meno-Kits)
• evidence of workplace changes
• qualitative feedback and case studies
Closing date for applications, how to apply and award notification:
• Applicants should send an Expression of Interest email no later than 9am on Monday, 6 July to sarah@cumbriafoundation.org explaining how they meet the shortlisting criteria detailed above. Email acknowledgement will be sent to confirm receipt.
• Applicants will be notified by 8 July
• Full application to be submitted 9am, 20July
• Outcome notifications week beginning 27 July
• Project Delivery September 2026 – March 2027
