Kitchen Rivals

Baines Wilson LLP have partnered up with Lake District Hotels and Barclays Bank to host a black tie event ‘Kitchen Rivals’ at the Lodore Falls Hotel, Derwentwater on Thursday 28 January 2016.

Teams of eight from Baines Wilson and Barclays take over the kitchen and front of house duties for the night to entertain 90 guests under the watchful eye of the Lodore Falls Hotel staff.

The two teams will be watched via a live stream shown and one will be declared the winner once everyone has scored their team’s performance, based on various elements of the evening. The point of the event is to raise money for charity. They’re hoping to raise a total of at least £6,000 in one night. Baines Wilson LLP has nominated the Flood Appeal as its chosen charity to benefit from the evening.

Guests will pay for their experience based on what they feel the meal and service is worth and there will also be a fundraising raffle and auction, the proceeds of which will be matched by Barclays Bank and split three ways between Amy’s Care chosen by Lake District Hotels, Cumbria Community Foundation Flood Appeal chosen by Baines Wilson LLP and the Calvert Trust chosen by Barclays Bank.
