Empowering Creativity: Cumbria Cultural Fund relaunch

Empowering Creativity is an evening reception to mark the relaunch of the Cumbria Cultural Fund, which was created by inspirational patron of the arts, Mary Burkett, to support individuals striving to reach the highest levels of achievement and excellence in their chosen field of the arts.

Mary would have been 100 in October, which is why this is a fitting time to relaunch the fund and to celebrate her life.

We have recently carried out a review into the purpose of the fund and will be sharing the findings, together with plans for its future development.

The evening will also showcase talent supported by the fund to date, from opera and poetry to stand-up comedy and more. If you would like to join us for this very special evening, please reserve your place.
