Bridget has worked within the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector across Cumbria for over 20 years, supporting local organisations to strengthen their sustainability and impact.

She has experience as a voluntary director for a social enterprise and as a trustee for a small charity, which has enhanced her strong understanding of governance and the realities faced by community-led organisations.

Bridget also served as a Parish Councillor for seven years and brings valuable local insight, partnership experience, and a commitment to supporting effective grant-making as a Grants Committee Member for Cumbria Community Foundation.
