Ali has worked in Barrow for over 20 years in a range of community development roles and currently work within the Westmorland Community Development Team in Furness.

She is passionate about strengthening grassroots work and helping community groups access the funding and support they need to make a real difference.

She loves working across Furness and is proud to be part of a town with such strong community spirit. Furness has a resilient and dedicated voluntary and community sector that continually responds to local needs.

She is pleased to contribute her experience and insight as a member of the Furness Grants Committee.
