Grants for charitable organisations that use sport and physical activity to raise awareness, tackle mental health stigmas and support men (18+) with mental or physical health problems to become more active.
Who can apply?
• community groups and charitable, not-for-profit organisations
• small locally based organisations
Priority will be given to small, locally based organisations in areas of disadvantage which are run by people living in those communities who are directly affected by local issues and challenges (this can include ‘communities of interest’, e.g., working with a specific marginalised community).
Examples of activities the Fund may support:
• men’s health projects
• community sports activities
• Men in Sheds projects
What the Fund will not support in addition to our normal exclusions:
• capital costs of physical items or more than half the value of the grant
• groups targeting those under 18
• female-only groups
How much can you apply for?
Grants will normally be up to £10,000 and projects must be completed within one year.
