Currently the Foundation has over sixty grant-making funds created by the Community Foundation and its donors. The funds reflect need in the community and the interests of the donors who created them. A full list of active funds is available here.

Foundation Grants – supporting small local groups.

Kipling fund for older people – supporting older people throughout Cumbria.

Kipling fund for younger people – supporting children and young people throughout Cumbria.

Janetta Topsy Laidlaw – supporting older people in Carlisle.

Violet Laidlaw Fund – supporting homeless people in Carlisle.
