How to give: Membership

Corporate Membership

This is a popular and cost effective way for your business to put something back into your community.

By making an annual donation to support our work you will become an important part of our organisation.

The Community Foundation has a large number of members, and they are ultimately our governing body. New members are always welcome. It can be a first step to finding out more about our work or a simple way to help the community.

Donations are used to support our grant making and operational activity.

By becoming a member of the Foundation you can be assured your support will be of value to your local community.

The benefits for you include:

  • invitations to special events
  • a framed membership certificate
  • regular newsletters and annual reviews detailing our work
  • professional assistance in planning your charitable giving
  • local media coverage
  • an invitation to attend and vote at our annual meeting
  • the knowledge that you are helping to improve the quality of community life for the people of Cumbria
