Examples: Laing plc Fund
Laing, the building firm, was established in Cumbria by James Laing in Sebergham in 1848. The Laing family have never forgotten their Cumbrian origins and in recognition of this donated £50,000 to establish the Laing Fund at the Community Foundation. Income from the Laing Fund supports the Foundation's general grant making.
