RUN A MILE FUN RUN

Following the success of last year’s fun run, we are urging hundreds of people to take part in the 2007 Fun Run around Barrow Park at 12 noon on Sunday 1st July.
This event is organised by Barrow Community Trust. The Trust is the borough’s own special grant giving charity. In the six years we have been in operation we have grant aided more than 120 voluntary and community groups in the borough by distributing over £548,000 in grants.
We have already received applications from individuals, schools and local businesses for the 2007 Fun Run and would like to remind you should you wish to participate, to get your application form completed and returned asap. You can enter on the day if you wish but we would welcome pre entries, as there are absolute limits of 1000 runners.
The Fun Run costs £2 to enter and everyone will receive a commemorative medal.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to get fit whilst gaining sponsorship for you own funds, chosen charity, or raise funds for Barrow Community Trust.
It will be a family day out with the fun fair and plenty of entertainment for all.
Attached you will find an application form and sponsor form, please photocopy as many as you require.
