Funded by Cumbria Community Foundation and donations from individuals, businesses, charitable trusts. Grants may be made to individuals and families for charitable purposes to relieve hardship caused directly or indirectly by the storm and flooding which took place in December 2015

How much can you apply for?
• Hardship grants normally range between £500 and £2,000. However, in exceptional circumstances, grants of up to £6,000 will be considered. Further requests may be made after a month.

Who can apply?
• Individuals or families whose properties and contents have been damaged by flooding (whether insured or not) or who are suffering other hardship as a result of the flooding
• Employees who have lost work or income because of storm or flood

Flood Resistance / Resilience Funding
Grants of up to £2,000 will be considered to help with flood resistance and resilience measures.
