Priorities

Trustees keep local need under review regularly to ensure grants are targeted to the most deserving causes. These are currently:

  • Tackling disadvantage in rural communities
  • Tackling disadvantage in pockets of deprivation including the top 20% most deprived wards (list of relevant wards)
  • Supporting disadvantaged children and young people
  • Hidden and emerging need

We do support other projects outside these priorities which focus on disadvantaged groups in Cumbria.
