Priorities
Trustees keep local need under review regularly to ensure grants are targeted to the most deserving causes. These are currently:
Tackling disadvantage in rural communities
Tackling disadvantage in pockets of deprivation including the top 20% most deprived wards (list of relevant wards)
Supporting disadvantaged children and young people
Hidden and emerging need
We do support other projects outside these priorities which focus on disadvantaged groups in Cumbria.
Applying for money guidelines.
The Community Champions and Local Network Fund for children and young people programmes are now closed. A replacement for the latter will be announced at the end of May.
