Fluor’s grant making resources are allocated to community organisations in locations where the company has a permanent office or project site presence, selected higher education programmes and specific programmes initiated by Fluor

Priorities

  • Education related

Funding is focused on school/business partnerships and programmes which promote participation in higher education with an emphasis on engineering and improving the maths and science curriculum. Fluor supports scholarships and student association programmes.

  • Health and human services

Groups that provide community services eg youth clubs, support for older adults or people with disabilities

  • Public and civic affairs

Organisations that promote the community and economic life of the area and promote volunteering

  • Cultural

Visual and performing arts, museums and local heritage

  • Fluor employee engagement

The Fund has a particular interest in projects that meet one or more of the above criteria and also involve employees of Fluor Limited as trustees or volunteers

How much can you apply for?

Grants will normally be in the range £500‑3,000 over one year

The Fund will not support
* computers
* expeditions
* individuals
* film production and publishing activities
* sports organisations
* outings except in special circumstances
* photocopiers
* promotion of religious doctrine
* lobbying or political organisations
