Closing dates for most applications are below. All material must be with us by the closing date. For online applications the closing date is when Part B of the application should reach us by post. Applications submitted at least a week before that date will be checked for completeness and you will be asked to supply missing items. Later applications may have to be deferred. Due to the pressure of work these dates are not negotiable.
11 June for meetings on 24 June and 6 July
20 August for meetings on 9 and 14 September
8 October for meetings on 21 October and 2 November
19 November for meetings on 9 and 14 December
21 January 2011 for meetings on 10 and 15 February
(The first date in each case is for projects in Barrow Borough)
There is an extra meeting for Flood Recovery Funds business only on 9 August.

There are different dates for the following funds which have separate grants committees:
Allerdale Youth Bank has a closing date of 1 September for a meeting on 7 September.
Carlisle Youth Bank has meetings about monthly.
Edmond Castle Educational Trust has a closing date of 15 October for a meeting on 5 November then about six monthly.
Holehird Trust has a closing dates of 28 May and 3 September for meetings on 21 June and 28 September.
Joyce Wilkinson Charitable Trust has a closing date of 14 November for a meeting on 9 December.
Mary Grave Trust has closing dates of 2 April and 1 October for meetings on 25 May and 2 November.
Rockcliffe and Westlington CWM Trust Fund meets as needed.
Decisions of grants committees are usually notified within a week of the closing date.
