Applying for a grant

Allerdale Youth Bank

What is Allerdale Youth Bank?

The Youth Bank is a pot of money (£2,500 this year) that will be given out to groups of young people in Allerdale.

* Allerdale Youth Bank has been set up by young people from Allerdale for young people in Allerdale.
* All of the decisions about how the money is spent are made by young people.
* Young people have set all the rules about who can apply for the money, how much you can apply for and the kind of things you can use the money for.
* Young people from the Youth Bank will assess all the application forms and will decide how the Allerdale Youth Bank money is given out.
* Groups can ask for grants of between £50 and £500.

Last year we gave 16 grants for an average of £364 and approved 67% of applications
